Cadena Camp - Bogota 2025

During our participation in the Cadena Internacional Humanitarian Camp, which took place from June 5 to 8, 2025, in Bogotá, Colombia, we learned so many things. We met incredible people from different places, participated in group bonfire reflections, and worked on building a raft that could be used to cross rivers in the event of a disaster.

It was wonderful to meet people from different countries, learn about their languages, and how they say things in different ways. One of the most special parts was how, little by little, we began to trust one another, laugh together, and share unforgettable moments.

We took part in many fun activities like running, jumping, swimming, and even being tied together to complete team challenges. By the end of the camp, no one wanted to leave because we had grown so fond of each other. It was truly an unforgettable experience because, besides learning, we felt like we were doing something that could help many people.

This experience showed us the importance of humanitarian work and the values it teaches—teamwork, effective communication, and emotional intelligence. We believe the most beautiful part of the camp was learning valuable lessons while having fun and building meaningful friendships.

To conclude the initiative, we gathered around a final bonfire where each country shared what they had learned during the camp, summing it up in a single word. This camp definitely gave us a new perspective on humanitarian work and how it operates in a society that can often feel indifferent.
