Isaac Rabin Foundation

The Isaac Rabin Foundation is a non-profit foundation that was born with the aim of creating the Isaac Rabin School, a Jewish-Panamanian educational institution that assumes the task of training people responsible for their own personal growth, stimulating knowledge and critical thinking, in a multicultural environment with a modern and dynamic approach to Judaism.

The Board of Directors of the Isaac Rabin Foundation is currently made up of ten Principal and Alternate Directors, who are:

Every 2 years, during the first week of September or before the Rosh Hashanah holiday, the positions of president, vice president, secretary and treasurer are elected. For the period 2018-2020, the managers and representatives of the Board of Directors are:

The Foundation is in charge of making decisions in the present and ensuring the continuity of the mission of the College in the long term so that in the future the children of our students can come to the College and live the mission.

Likewise, the members of the Foundation have the primary responsibility for the sustainability of the College, in strategic aspects, in the mission of the College and in long-term financial survival.

The Foundation is the guardian of the mission of the College, to ensure that it is appropriate, relevant and vital to the educational community. The Foundation monitors the success of the College in fulfilling its mission, vision and values.

The main functions of the Foundation are the following:

  • That the statement of the mission, vision, values ​​and objectives of the College are clear.

  • Review and maintain policies and plans always in accordance with the mission of the College.

  • Monitor the general operation of the College, ensuring that the policies it has established are interpreted and implemented correctly.

  • He is responsible for the financial health of the College, including capital assets, operating budgets, donations, and benefactors.

  • The Foundation selects, supports and motivates the General Director.

  • The Foundation and its different working committees conduct an annual, written evaluation of the director's performance, and work with him or her to establish the goals and projects for each school year.
